Kay is an accomplished independent advisor, strategy consultant, chief executive and non-executive director, with extensive experience in the healthcare sector. She has a professional background in commercial marketing and is currently a strategic advisor to healthcare companies and portfolio non-executive director. She is a Board member for Durham University, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, and the Private Healthcare Information Network.  

In her varied career Kay also held senior national charity roles – most recently as Chief Executive for Asthma UK and the British Lung Foundation leading their successful merger. She has a record of delivering impactful new campaigns, products and partnerships, and is passionate about patient centred innovation, digital transformation, and cross-sector collaboration. Kay has also recently served on the Association of Medical Research Charities Board, the King’s Fund General Advisory Council and NHS Net Zero Expert Panel.
