Lantum is a platform that uses Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to automate the manual processes involved in organising staff to fill clinical rotas. Melissa, the CEO and founder came up with the idea while working at NHS London’s Strategy Directorate. She could see how much time effort and funds were wasted on organising rotas as well as on filling gaps through agencies and realised the problems could be solved through technology. Melissa previously was a management consultant at Mckinsey&Co where she worked on system change for the NHS. Lantum is used UK wide from Manchester to London, Birmingham to Northamptonshire. Clients are mostly organisations providing primary care at scale who use it to create online clinical staff banks. Lantum is a VC backed technology company and has global ambitions to solve the staffing problems in healthcare systems around the world.
