Jeremy Hunt highlights importance of using technology to support people with long-term conditions

Setting out his vision for the digital future of the NHS, Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt highlighted the importance of using technology to support people with long term chronic conditions.

In an interview with The Times (Sunday 10 September 2017), Mr Hunt references myCOPD – an NIA innovation – which supports people with COPD to manage their condition more effectively through education, symptom tracking, inhaler technique coaching and pulmonary rehabilitation.
