Harpreet is currently a NHS primary care doctor in London and a digital health expert. He has a portfolio of work advising early stage digital health companies, multinationals and VCs and is currently a Senior Advisor in Health Technology at Reckitt Benckiser, a FTSE 100 company. Harpreet also sits on the board of Health Education England, a £4.5bn organisation training and developing 160,000 staff across the NHS, where his focus is on developing digital and data science skills for the workforce.

Harpreet was formerly the first Associate Chief Clinical Information Officer (CCIO) at NHS England and prior to this Senior Fellow to the CEO of NHS England, where he advised senior NHS policymakers on NHS innovation and technology policy. As the Associate CCIO, Harpreet was involved in developing and implementing NHS England’s digital health and data strategy, including co-founding and leading the NHS Digital Academy, one of the key initiatives from the strategy. Harpreet also has international experience of working in the US where he co-founded a digital health startup in Boston and worked at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Harpreet trained as a clinical doctor at King’s College London and Imperial College Business School and completed a Masters in Public Health (MPH) at Harvard University.
