Nervecentre’s Paul Volkaerts features in new Digital Hunters podcast series

NHS Innovation Accelerator (NIA) Fellow, Paul Volkaerts – CEO and Founder of Nervecentre Software – features in new podcast series ‘Digital Hunters’, which celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50 Award.

Nervecentre Software was recognised in Deloitte UK’s Technology Fast 50 in 2015 and 2016. These Awards recognise the fastest growing technology companies in the UK. Measuring revenue growth over four years, the award is an objective recognition of outstanding company performance. Winners attract significant global interest from investors and are offered substantial exit opportunities. Additional credibility from the award opens doors to enterprise level customers and helps attract top talent.

The ‘Digital Hunters’ podcast series is presented by former Director of Development at Orbis Technology and double winner of the award, David Wicks. His interviews with fellow winners, discuss paths to growth and the key elements for success. His hope is that many more will follow in the footsteps of the Fast 50 to benefit both the UK and World economies and to enrich the lives of all in this age of digital revolution.

    Paul Volkhaerts

Here’s what David had to say about Paul:

“Paul doesn’t see himself as a ‘classic’ entrepreneur. He describes how his experience selling collaboration technologies to the NHS as part of a multinational tech business, led him to bootstrap his own business with only £5,000. He personally developed initial solutions and made his first sale only a few weeks before funds ran out.

“The success of Nervecentre comes from Paul’s ability to see and realise the potential of the latest mobile technology to revolutionise hospital care in the UK, always putting the customer first ahead of profit. He has built a strong distributed team with a high trust culture.”
