    Now Hiring – Interim Deputy Director

    The NHS Innovation Accelerator is recruiting for an Interim Deputy Director on a 1-year fixed-term contract.

     

    The Deputy Director will work with the National Director for the NIA to co-lead delivery of the accelerator in partnership with NHS England and Improvement (NHSE/I), AHSNs and other key stakeholders.

    The post holder will take on operational responsibilities, including but not limited to; co-lead on supporting recruited innovators to diffuse selected innovations, build and maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders (fellows, mentors, sponsors, test sites, co-hosts and partners), be a named contact point for Fellows, manage and support the generation of resources for the NIA and its sustainability, oversee the annual NIA selection process, collaborate closely with the NHS England and Improvement, AHSNs and others in organising and coordinating the Fellowship learning programme and events (e.g.: quarterly meetings, annual launch of new Fellows), help promote the NIA , in particular achieving international reach and visibility, and work with co-hosts to arrange for evaluation and research associated with the NIA.

    This is a very hands-on role within a small, non-hierarchical team and as such, the Deputy Director will be directly involved in day to day delivery.
