Naomi Tonkin

Naomi Tonkin is the Project Manager for the NHS Innovation Accelerator (NIA). She leads the delivery of the NIA recruitment call while supporting fellows through onboarding, learning events, and mentorship connections to create a positive and engaging experience.

Before joining the NIA, Naomi worked in data management in clinical trials and holds a BSc in Natural Sciences and an MSc in Precision Medicine. She is particularly interested in how innovation can drive continuous improvement across the NHS, enabling better ways of delivering care and supporting healthier lives. Naomi combines strong organisational skills with a creative mindset and is passionate about designing programmes that put people first, foster meaningful connections, and enable innovators to maximise their impact. Outside of work, Naomi enjoys keeping active and playing tennis.
