
Mindy Simon
Mindy is Co-Director of the NHS Innovation Accelerator (NIA), overseeing programme delivery and providing strategic guidance to innovators. She joined UCLPartners in 2013 and became part of the NIA team in 2017.
With a career spanning the health and life sciences sectors, Mindy has held senior leadership and operational roles across healthcare and higher education. She began her career overseas managing a private primary care practice, later shaping departments focused on alternative therapies at institutions including the University of Oxford and King’s College London.
Her expertise includes board-level governance, executive support, operational efficiency, infrastructure development, and cross-sector collaboration. Mindy is passionate about breaking down barriers to health innovation and helping innovators address challenges facing the NHS, patients, and the wider care system.
Outside of work, she is a mother of two and a Trustee of a primary school PTA. She holds a First-Class BA (Hons) in Communication and a qualifying Law Masters.
