Will Smart is a senior technology executive and former National Chief Information Officer for Health and Social Care in England, with over 30 years’ experience in digital transformation across the NHS and commercial sectors. In the NHS, he has held executive digital leadership roles at the Royal Free London and Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals, where his work enabled large-scale improvements in patient care and operational efficiency.

Will’s commercial experience includes senior leadership positions with Dedalus Group and DXC Technology. His work has included engaging global stakeholders, building thought leadership, and driving a significant sales pipeline while championing a cohesive approach to healthcare digital transformation. He is currently a Non-Executive Director at Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, chairing the EPR Joint Committee for the BSW Hospital Group, and has recently joined the board of Alcidion Group Limited, an Australian health technology innovator.
