
Ahmad Bismillah
Ahmad is the Delivery Manager at the NHS Innovation Accelerator (NIA), where he leads the adoption and scale of impactful innovations across the NHS. His work supports sustainable, system-wide transformation by fostering collaboration between innovators and the wider health and care system.
Ahmad is a qualified project, programme, and portfolio manager with experience spanning public sector innovation and policy delivery. Prior to joining the NIA, he led the Mayor’s Open Innovation Programme at the Greater London Authority, addressing complex urban challenges including public health, poverty, environment, and employment.
Though new to healthcare, Ahmad brings a cross-sector perspective and is passionate about inclusive, mission-driven solutions that consider people, place, partners, and the planet.
He is also a Trustee at STAMMA and holds an executive role at Muslims in Public Policy, where he supports youth employment and wellbeing. Outside work, he enjoys badminton, cycling, and is more talented at watching cricket, than playing.
