
Sh’anesu Rusike
Sh’anesu is the Project Manager for the NHS Innovation Accelerator (NIA), supporting the operational delivery of the programme and ensuring effective coordination across its activities.
She brings a strong public sector background, having begun her career at Public Health England (now UKHSA), before completing the NHS Graduate Management Training Scheme with a focus on Finance. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Accounting and Management, is part-qualified with CIPFA, and holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Leadership through the NHS Leadership Academy’s Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Programme.
Sh’anesu transitioned into project management to align her work more closely with improving patient care. She has a particular interest in championing financial literacy within the NHS and supporting innovation-led service improvement.
Outside of work, she is passionate about women’s empowerment and community development. She is also a published illustrator, artist, and freelance writer, combining creativity with her commitment to social impact.
