In 2016, the NIA received 119 applications. We were overwhelmed by the breadth and high standard of applications – covering a broad portfolio of innovation types (e.g. digital, devices, processes, models of care), companies (e.g. charity, NHS, academic, SMEs) and countries (e.g. Europe, UK and US).
To be appointed as an NIA Fellow, applicants need to demonstrate a set of values and passion for taking a high impact, evidence based innovation to benefit more people across the country, and a willingness to openly share their learning on diffusing innovations.
