With over 15 years of experience in digital transformation and commercial strategy, Carmelo has driven innovation at global organisations including Xerox, GE Healthcare, International SOS, and Doctor Care Anywhere. As the architect of GE’s Digital Centre of Excellence, his work earned recognition from Apple CEO Tim Cook at WWDC. His early advisory role at Uber and ongoing mentorship of tech and life sciences startups demonstrates his commitment to fostering innovation across industries.
Holding a BSc in Computer Science and fluent in English and Italian, Carmelo combines technical expertise with healthcare innovation, collaborating closely with NHS partners and policymakers to develop sustainable, technology-driven solutions that enhance patient care. Outside of work, he enjoys photography and spending time with his wife and three children.
