Chen Mao Davies is the Founder and CEO of Anya.
She holds a PhD in Computer Graphics and Animation. Before Anya, Chen had a career in creating visual effects for blockbuster movies including Gravity and Blade Runner 2049, winning Oscar and BAFTA awards in Best Visual Effects.
Her life course changed after she became a mother and experienced a tremendous breastfeeding challenge. Her experience motivated her to found Anya – an award-winning FemTech start-up that uses cutting-edge 3D technology and AI (Artificial Intelligence) to provide 24/7 support during the first 1001 days of the parental journey.
