John and his innovation, Enhanced Recovery After Surgery + (ERAS+) were supported by the NIA from 2016-2019.
John is the Clinical Director for Adult Critical Care and a consultant in Critical Care and Anaesthesia at Central Manchester University Hospitals Foundation Trust (CMFT). He is the medical lead for ERAS+.
ERAS+ is a programme designed to help major surgery patients prepare and recovery from their procedure.
