Hak Salih
Currently Global Startup Partner Strategist for APJ and EMEA at Amazon Web Services (AWS) building strategy, go-to-market (GTM) programs and establishing new GTM channels that help startup tech partners grow their business. Hak and his team works with some of the most innovative startup tech partners and supports them as subject matter experts in industry, venture capital, and startup business development. His previous role at AWS was Public Sector Venture Capital & Startups, Healthcare Business Development lead for EMEA working with healthcare providers, investors and startups to drive the adoption of startups by public sector healthcare customers. He led strategy and delivery of AWS Healthcare Accelerators in EMEA and created new initiatives to drive adoption of startups.
Prior to AWS he was Digital Health Lead at MedCity providing advice to over 250 domestic and international inbound digital health companies, clinical and academic entrepreneurs and investors to understand UK’s ecosystem, how to navigate the NHS, advice on commercial models, product market fit and raising grant, loan and equity finance. He was also a DigitalHealth.London management board member and DigitalHealth.London Digital Health Accelerator (DHLA) program board member where he delivered commercial and funding advice to the first 5 cohorts.
His mentoring experience includes 1/ mentor to the Digital Pioneer Fellowship: Thirty-seven NHS staff leading digital transformation projects supported by DigitalHealth.London’s Digital Pioneer Fellowship 2/ mentor to NHS England’s Clinical Entrepreneurs Program offering opportunities for clinical, NHS staff and wider health professionals to develop their entrepreneurial aspirations 3/ included in Maserati 100 in Sunday Times acknowledging those who support the next generation of entrepreneurs and 4/ awarded “Enterprising IOEE Member Award” at the House of Lords acknowledging significant pro bono mentoring of entrepreneurs across sectors.
