Jack is a Chartered & European Patent Attorney who advises on all aspects of IP and patent protection, with particular expertise in protecting medical and health technologies. He has significant experience working with high-growth start-ups and acts as an IP advisor to a number of accelerators, VCs and tech transfer departments across the UK, including Digital Health London.

Jack has an academic background in physics and a PhD in materials science and works with clients across a broad range of technology areas, including HealthTech, medical devices, software and AI, electronics, engineering and novel materials.  He has particular expertise in advising companies applying the latest digital technologies, such as machine learning, to solving problems in healthcare. His clients range from large multinationals to SMEs and university spin outs but his primary focus and experience is in advising early stage HealthTech companies on developing an IP strategy to protect their innovation and support their growth.
