Ahmad is the Delivery Manager for the NHS Innovation Accelerator (NIA), where he drives the adoption and acceleration of impactful innovations across the NHS in a collaborative and sustainable manner.

Ahmad is dedicated to supporting mission-driven innovations that deliver and evaluate impact across policy and systems. As an qualified project, programme and portfolio manager, he brings a wealth of knowledge from his tenure at the Greater London Authority, where he led the Mayor’s Open Innovation Programme – Challenge LDN. In this role, he tackled some of London’s most pressing issues, including poverty, health, the environment, communities, and employment. Though new to the healthcare sector, Ahmad remains a strong advocate for holistic solutions that consider people, place, partners, and the planet.

Outside of work, Ahmad serves as a Trustee for STAMMA and enhances employment and wellbeing prospects for young people through his executive role at Muslims in Public Policy. He is also a (reluctant) cyclist, an avid badminton player, and is perhaps better known for his exceptional talent in organising cricket fixtures than for his playing skills.
